Business After 5
Business After 5 is a monthly event held by the Chamber of Commerce at different Chamber businesses. This event is a great way to network with fellow community members and enjoy a fun night with food and drinks provided! Business After 5 events are free for members and non-members of the Sault Area Chamber of Commerce. If you are a Chamber member, ask about availability to host a Business After 5 at your establishment! Not a Chamber member, but want to host? Join the Chamber today! Ambassador of the Month
Andre Jacques
This month we are recognizing Andre Jacques from 4Front Credit Union! Andre joined the Chamber Ambassadors in 2022 and has been a great addition to the club. Here is a little more about Andre:

My name is Andre Jacques and I was born and raised here in Sault Sainte Marie. I attended Sault Area High School and Lake Superior State University while working toward my degree in Business Management and Finance/Economics. I had worked for my family business, Nomad Construction, for most of my life but most recently have worked in banking for the past 7 years. Currently I am a commercial lender with 4Front Credit Union. Outside of work, my hobbies include being outside with my kids and dogs, and I enjoy all four season we get here in the Sault. I am also involved in Soo Michigan Hockey Association where I have been a coach for the past 11 years. Growing up playing hockey, this offers a great way to give back to the community and sport I enjoyed so much. Along with being a Chamber Ambassador, I am also a member of the local Rotary Club and a member of the Soo Career Center Advisory Committee.

Leadership Program
The Sault Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program is designed to bring a group of diverse individuals together to undergo a series of educational sessions where they will become knowledgeable on topics that impact and define our community. These individuals are recognized as potential leaders in the community and will be equipped with information, resources and relationships to help shape the future of the Sault Ste. Marie area. Applicants will be selected on the basis of community involvement, career background, work experience, motivation, attitude and leadership potential.
